Common Roads
supports and enhances the well-being of lesbian, gay,
bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth (ages 14-22)
in Central Pennsylvania.
We do this
by:

Providing a safe,
confidential, non-judgmental place for youth to interact, to learn
from each other, to express themselves and express themselves.

Combating
discrimination, harassment and bigotry through training and
education

Promoting advocacy
for and by LGBTQ youth.

Forming partnerships with people and organizations to aid us in
accomplishing our mission.

Distributing information and resources pertaining to LGBTQ youth
issues throughout central Pennsylvania.
Common Roads provides fun and
age-appropriate activties every Friday, 7:00-9:30 p.m., at both
Harrisburg and Lancaster locations. Our programs

Life Skills
Common Roads is coordinated by a team of adults who have expertise
in working with young people. At least two of the adult team
members are present at all meetings.
Common Roads offers a library of books, CDs and videos. Our
website includes a list of links to other useful organizations for
youth, families, allies, educators and mental health providers.
